Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health has named Shane Hilton CFO, effective immediately, to replace Lynn Krutak, who will retire June 30.

Roshanda Thomas has resigned as CEO of Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca, Texas. 

Austin, Texas-based St. David's HealthCare has appointed Amy Russell, MSN, chief nursing officer of St. David's North Austin Medical Center, effective April 8.

Rolla Sweis, PharmD, was named president and CEO of Chicago-based La Rabida Children's Hospital.

Peter Fine, who has served as Phoenix-based Banner Health's CEO for 24 years, will retire June 30.

Lawrence, Kan.-based LMH Health has tapped Rob Chestnut as CFO, effective May 20, after it terminated CFO Mike Rogers in November after nearly a month on the job for lying about his identity and felony record.

Renton, Wash.-based Providence has tapped Sara Gattie to serve as its next chief risk officer. 

Josh Hester was promoted to CEO of Detroit Medical Center's Adult Central Campus, effective April 8.

Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham has appointed Kevin Giordano president of Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital and COO of Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Brigham and Women's Hospital Physicians Organization. He was also named senior vice president of operations for the health system.

Effective July 1, Karen Keady, PhD, RN, will join Vanderbilt University Medical Center as chief nursing officer. She joins the Nashville, Tenn.-based system from the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center, where she spent six years as vice president and chief nurse executive. 

TMC Health is readying for a change at the top after President and CEO Judy Rich served for 17 years in the role.
